The 2012 Back Yamma Bigfoot has been run and won. I hope you all had a great weekend! I know we did!
The overall 100km male winner was Jason English, preventing James Downing from getting his 3rd win. The fastest female over 100km on the day was Michaela Watts.
Over 50km the overall winners were Kylie Webb and Lachlan Paton.
The provisional results are up on the results page. Let us know if there are any mistakes. ***18/09/2012 10:16am Updated*** - Some corrections.
We had a strong showing from the new Super Masters category this year. We weren’t sure how popular it would be so just had a combined female and male category (similar to the juniors). We want to give a special mention to the sole female super masters entrant, Lorraine Werry. She came 5th in the Super Masters 50km with a time that would have given her a 4th position in the Masters Female 50km! We even had a rider over 70 years old! My new life ambition is to ride the Back Yamma in my 70th year.
Stay tuned for details of photos and a further event wrap up.

Just a few last minute things:
Online entries close midnight Friday night.
Entries can be made at Back Yamma forest but only on Saturday at registration. No entries will be taken on Sunday!
Note that all entries taken at Back Yamma Forest on Saturday will incur a late fee of $5/rider.
For all those who should be working today but are day dreaming about the weekend at Back Yamma, here’s another video showing some riding at the Back Yamma forest. All of this is part of 2012′s course.
This was all taken with Contour’s cameras which are pretty awesome. Some of them even have a GPS which lets you do some interesting things. Check them out.
Here is the entrant list valid at Tuesday evening (4th Sep). If you entered since then you won’t be on the list.
This is so you can check if you are entered correctly.
