   Will the track be open prior to the race?
   Previously indicated open 12 midday on the Saturday for reconnaissance.
   But not in the info pack.

     Yes, the course will be open for reconnaissance from midday Saturday.

   If riding the 50k course can we pop back to camp to get food/drink or another spare tube at the half way point?

     If you’re riding the 50km track you will not be able to return to the event center at the 25km mark (the event center is about 1.5 km away along single track and your return path would see you traveling in the opposite direction to all other riders).

     You will however be able to leave a drink bottle or other belongings at the water stop which is just beyond the 25km turn off on the 50km track.
