2011 Back Yamma Bigfoot Results
The 2011 Back Yamma Bigfoot has been run and won and results are now available on our results page.
This was our second year running this event and it proved to be popular once again with a total of 456 entries across the three race distances. From this 456 entries there were 407 starters, 49 in the Little Foot, 174 in the Big Foot and 184 in the Two Big Feet.
We would like to thank our sponsors Essential Energy, Ground Effect and Progressive Coaching Systems. A big thank you to Forests NSW for allowing us to run this event in their forest and for allowing free camping to competitors over the duration of the weekend. We would also like to thank the Rotary Club of Parkes, Parkes SES, St Johns and the Central West Astronomical Society for their support during the weekend.
THANKS FOR A GREAT EVENT. WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR. I AM NOW KNOWN AS WALLABY WOMAN AS I CAME FACE TO FACE WITH A KANGAROO WHILST FLYING DOWN THE TRACK, SOMEHOW I DUCKED ON THE BIKE AS IT JUMPED OVER THE TOP OF ME MANAGING TO STAY UPRIGHT BUT PROVIDING ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVERYONE, ALMOST NEEDED A SPARE PAIR OF NICKS!
