About
2012 sees the Back Yamma Bigfoot return for its third year. This 25/50/100km mountain bike race is held in the Back Yamma State Forest near Parkes and Forbes in the Central West of NSW (see the map below).
The course has been designed to cater to beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. Beginners can get a taste of the action in the “Little Foot” (25km option), while intermediate and advanced riders can push a little harder and take in some of the more technical aspects of the single track in the “Big Foot” (50km option). A 100km “Two Big Feet” option exists for those riders wanting to push even further.

Location
Camping
Adjacent to the event center is a large open grassy area suitable for camping. Forests NSW have kindly stated that there will be no charge for camping. There will be a number of portaloos on site for the duration of the weekend. Campers should bring enough water with them to be self sufficient.
Food and Showers
Parkes Rotary will be providing great reasonably priced meals on Saturday night. Also, for just a $2 donation to Rotary, you can enjoy a hot shower after the race before your trip home.

Cut-off Times
Riders will be subject to cut off times for starting the blue and red loops (see the event schedule). It is likely that only Two Big Feet (104km) and Two Odd Feet (relay) riders could be affected by these times. These time limits are necessary to prevent our volunteers having to wait out in the forest into the night. We believe these time limits are reasonable as the track is flat and fast.
If you are affected by the cut off you will still receive times for your completed laps at the start/finish point.
